BMGT 428 — Human Resource Management (5 cr)
Formerly MMGT 428. This course provides an understanding of how organizations can gain a sustainable competitive advantage through the effective utilization of their employees. Human resource departments today have an active role in strategic planning and decision making within their organizations. The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with the tools and practices of human resource management and an appreciation for the changes they can effect by understanding how best to manage people and be aware of the challenges and opportunities likely to be encountered.
